Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community.   • I guess we forgot! Let's do Hot Wifey Tuesday instead.

    I have nothing to contribute for that because I have not been working out  but I plan to start at the end of this week since I am going to be done my cleanse! My abs are much flatter from the cleanse and not drinking, now it's time to tone up!

  • Okay, so I caved and joined Weight Watchers online. It's actually pretty easy, but it's a little hard getting used to eating much smaller portions. When you actually measure food out it's quite surprising how much you are eating.

    I also got a new harness for my beast of a dog so that I can take him on walks, and not the other way around. 

     I plan on signing up for a ballet class for the fall, too! I took ballet ages ago so I thought this would be fun and not seem like exercise. I'll let ya'll know how it goes when class starts.

  • Um...I FAILED big time.  DH and I are going to start P90X in the fall after our summer events are all done.  In the meantime, I'm going to try and workout more and just overall maintain......

  • Hot wifey tuesday works lol. I fell WAY off the wagon this past weekend but I got back on the wagon monday. Yesterday I ran for 45 mins and did 45 mins of ab/leg work. I ran for 30 mins this morning and plan on going to a workout class after work :)

    I've been doing pretty good, DH and I have been doing P90X every other day now that we are graduates (only the strength parts), and we started doing elliptical/running every other day, which has been a good change of pace and is much more flexible!  

    Also, I'm glad to be done with weddings for a while, those are not good for eating healthy (esp the one we went to on Saturday that had burgers, fries, and milkshakes, ha ha)

  • I managed to get a little bit closer to my wedding weight, though I'm still 5-7 lbs off (I gained FIFTEEN POUNDS at one point, eeek!!!). Back to my gym class routine that I had pre-wedding, and DH and I are not eating meat during the week which definitely leads to healthier recipes.
