As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I'm going to slit a mother effer's throat today

Wrong day to mess with me...

New employee sent me his government charge card application to process a couple of weeks ago.  I keep responding to his emails saying that I cannot process it until he sends me his training completion certificate.  I get a voicemail yesterday asking if I had processed it.  Once again, I told him (in voicemail this time) that I cannot process it without that damn certificate.  Still no response from him.  So this morning, I sent his supervisor a very polite email saying "I don't know if stupid effer is having problems with his email or not, but I've requested that he send me his training certificate multiple times or else I cannot process it." (Obviously I didn't call him a stupid effer in the email, but it sounds better.)

I just get a phone call from stupid effer.  "Hey Sara, this is Stupid Effer.  I saw the email that you sent to supervisor.  Were you telling the truth about sending me emails?"  I said "EXCUSE ME????  Are you implying that I'm lying?"  He then proceeds to backpedal, but the damage has been done.  I'm freakin pissed.  How dare you effing call me and accuse me of lying to your supervisor!!  Instead of saying something like "well, maybe there was a miscommunication or maybe I'm having technical difficulties with my email and never received it" he basically flat out called me a liar.  He is now on the top of my sh!t list.  I hope your pay gets put in the system properly and there isn't some sort of "oops" accident that causes you to get put on leave without pay for an entire pay period... jackass..

  • Ok, so I'm totally overreacting, but I'm in a horrible, horrible mood and I just want to go home and curl up in bed.... do you think I should mention his accusation to MY supervisor??  I mean, I have all of the emails that I sent to the guy about this training cert in my sent items (there are 5 of them).  So should I let my boss know what's going on, or just let it go?

  • That someone is questioning your crediability, I would bring it to your supervisor with all the emails you previously sent including the one to the axx hats boss.

    You said overreacted maybe ass hat did too.  But if it happens again I would probably let your boss know what is going on.

  • So I brought it up to one of the supervisors anyway.  With me being a contractor and the employee being government, there could potentially be a lot of issues that can come up if there is a conflict.  I just wanted the supervisor to be aware that it happened, but that I didn't want to make a big deal out of it unless something similar happens again.
