What tv shows were you obsessed with when you were younger?

A tweet from Jared Leto reminded me of my ridiculous obsession with My So Called Life. I watched the same episodes over and over again (I think it was only on for a season) and never saw the series finale until I was a freshman in college - and, of course, bawled like a baby about it.  I am sure if I watched the show now I would totally be rolling my eyes but at that time I totally "got" the whole teen romance drama bit.

Re: What tv shows were you obsessed with when you were younger?

  • I just Netflixed that show recently and was actually impressed all over again by how great it was! There was a lot going on with the parents that I kind of missed when I was a teenager, too.

I confess I also liked Dawson's Creek (Joshua Jackson!!), and when I was much younger, I liked The Wonder Years and Punky Brewster.

  • Loved me some Daria. I thought it was great. Although I only watched it when my mom wasn't around. She didn't like that show. Never really knew why.

Also we watched Ahhhh Real Monsters, Doug, and Rocco's Modern Life. I think we just kept it on Nickolodeon during the day.

  • I would always come home from elementary school and watch Saved By the Bell followed by Family Matters on TBS.

I loved Daria too Ami! Hahaha. My sister and I always joked that she was Daria and I was Quinn. We still quote that show.

  • My So Called Life...the Christmas episode I bawled; that Juliana Hatfield song didn't help any, either.

Dawson's Creek, Felicity, and original 90210.

I seriously considered using Quinn as a MN for M. But I didn't think went together so well. Plus Dh didn't like it so much.

  • Childhood: Chip and Dale's Rescue Rangers. I never really watched all that much tv...played outside A LOT.

Teenage years: Wonder Years, Dawson's Creek, Buffy, Felicity, ER, Simpson's, and for awhile X-files.

  • Tiny Toon Adventures, Animaniacs, Hey Dude, Ren & Stimpy, Doug, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles...

As a teenager, I don't think I was really obsessed with anything.. but I also didn't watch much TV.

  • My favs were Beverly Hills 90210, Melrose Place, Dawson's Creek, and Felicity. I also liked a bunch of cheezy sitcoms like Punky Brewster, Full House, Head of the Class... god I think all I did was watch TV.
  • I loved Full House, Saved by the Bell and all those Nickelodeon shows! Ahh, the memories.

  • My top 2 were probably 90210 and Dawson's Creek---although my friends never really understood my thing for Joshua Jackson, wtf? :)
