Who wants a sister wedding update?
My sisters wedding was this weekend. I hate to say it but I regret even going. I got the cold shoulder the entire time we were there. The only one who was nice to me was my 14 year old sister. My brother did not say 1 word to me (I haven't talked to him since October and haven't seen him for at least a year and a half) my mom and dad gave me dirty looks and my sister's husband barely even aknowleged me when I told him congrats. My sister who got married 'tried' to be nice but didn't really try all that hard.
I was yelled at because my hair wasn't 'done'. I woke up in the morning and straightened my hair ( I thought it looked nice). I was in the car all day so how am I suppose to have my hair 'done'. Everyone else there had theirs professionally done, but did anyone offer that to me?! I think NOT.
Anyway, what struck me as odd was that my sister did not get ANY wedding pictures in front of the falls. Why get married in Niagara Falls if you aren't going to get some pictures there? She did get a few with the falls in the background from her hotel room, but you could barely see it.
Anyway, we ended up leaving right after pictures and I got yelled at for not staying for dinner. Why would I want to stay where I was not wanted? We ended up meeting Jill & Vin for dinner on our way back anyway to breakup the drive a bit.

As for the pictures really none with the falls? I would think that would be the whole reason you would get married there!

I'm sorry they were so terrible to you. Sometimes that's what happens even when you try to be the bigger person. Seems to me like they only wanted to you stay longer so they could keep torturing you. I'm glad you left.
And yeah, what a waste of a great site to not get any pictures with the falls!
Anyway, now it's over so hopefully you can get back to a happy life of ignoring them.
