Thanks for letting me vent

I know I've been a bit of an aw about this, but thanks so much for letting me spout off here today.  It's really helped, even as everything has been pretty out of control.  Ireally appreciate that many of you care and are thinking of and praying for us.

Now, most the plans are set, and we're off to the hospital tomorrow for pre-tests.  We'll stay in town for the next several days, as we have a really early MRI on Thursday and the surgery on Friday.  We're supposed to be met by the child life specialist at intake tomorrow, and she and a translator are supposed to be with us through the whole process.  I'm praying that works out, and that we'll be able to power through this quickly and smoothly, and come out stronger as a family on the other end.

I feel like we've got a little bit better of a handle on things now.  We spoke to M tonight, and explained that we were going to the hospital for more tests and pictures of his heart, and that we were going to stay in the city with the hospital, because we're going to have more visits with the doctors in the coming days.  That's about what the life specialist told us to tell him, and it went over really well.  Tonight we packed his clothes together, and tomorrow we'll add his bathroom stuff and a few toys/personal items.  We made sure to tell him we'd be staying with him, and that we'd all return together.  He took all the information as fact, and really didn't have any questions.  So maybe these "child life specialists" know what they are doing after all, and I can just trust them a little more.

Whatever the case, while I'm still not thrilled, I feel better now than I did all day.
