lol that occurred to me as well. 6 sets. i don't think i'd touch those sheets or that mattress with the proverbial 10 foot pole.
I bet you anything it's a converted water bed. I remember when I was a kid and my parents were mattress shopping, so we went to a mattress store that also sold water beds. It was in the late 70's/early 80's, so you can just imagine what kind of disco swinger beds one could find. I thought the mirrored "ceiling" water beds were soooo pretty and classy.
I begged my parents for one, but alas, they said no.
I was just thinking this exactly!
That just made me revert back to the 8th grade and LMAO.
