If I could marry a blog post
Hyperbole girl's August 6th would see me down on my knees with a Nook. OMG. I'm Bethietearing all up in this joint.

okay Calie, I'm getting real tired of your state superiority complex. OOh. LOOK at me. I have mountains and shores. I have waffle carts. I have Hyperbole Girl. I GET IT. You live in the best state ever. Okay? OKAY??
:::runs away, crying:::
We also have a beaver on our state flag. *pelvic thrust*
Oh, sorry. I'm doing it again. I'll try to stop. Maybe a walk through our beautiful forest park and some sales tax-free shopping will help.

At first I was picturing some weird thing where your entire family had been thrown out of Oregon and wasn't allowed to return. But then I realized you meant you didn't want to leave them.

Sometimes I wonder if scientists have never seen a sci-fi movie before. "Oh yes, let's create a super species of deer. NOTHING COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG." I wonder if State Farm offers a Zombie Deer Attack policy. -CaliopeSpidrman

Reading these boards makes me realize that I have poor reading comprehension. I just read this and thought "Oregon has a musical score? I think she's thinking of Oklahoma. Oh...wait...the cat movie has a brilliant musical score. duh."

I laughed real hard at that post too. Although I've been a bit miffed with Ali and her new habit of posting maaybbee once every two weeks.
Also, Heith and I were discussing where I would be ok with living in the US if he ever became a famous basketball coach and wanted to coach NCAA, and Oregon was one of the very few places I agreed to.
Plus, I've always wanted to see the Oregon trail in person.
I often think how I wished I lived in Oregon. Of course, I often dream of living any place but here. I blame Reno for all my problems because I pretty much had none until I moved here.
Jens, I am new fan of the Trailblazers. 2 of our local college kids got drafted and ended up on the Trailblazers, so now I will be following them. Heith should totally try to be their coach.

If you ever make it out this way, I'll load it up onto an Apple II E for you.

It's frightening that other than the Chacos, you've just described my life. Although I haven't gone to the Farmer's Market much since we planted a veggie garden where our lawn used to be.

My H and I are huge fans. Used to have season tickets before this whole "baby" bullshiit. You can help me give Vinny shiit about her Denver Thuggets.
The hair grows in thick where the horn used to be.
So dreams do come true.
(I'm glad this joke didn't fall completely flat)
Lisa, I'll pitch the idea to Heith, and meanwhile you can start petitioning the area. We'll make it happen.
