As my WTF post said, I've signed up to run (ahem...jog/walk/survive) a half marathon in November. Anyone have any good running/walking programs that they've used? I have to keep a 15 min. mile pace for the first 7 miles, then just finish in 6 1/2 hours. I'd like to finish in 3.5 hrs. I'll also post on H&F. TIA!

mrBAMF uses RunKeeper on his iPhone and he loves it.

he just started running on the treadmill and then added in Runner's World's plan for a 10k. He'll be signing up for the 1/2 too.
Call me Kat =^..^=
I've used Galloway and Hal Higdon. Both worked. I tailored Galloway to me because I didn't want the walk breaks.
Find people to run with. It keeps you accountable. Those 7am long runs on Saturday are a pain but so worth it afterwards.
Cross train so you don't get burned out.
Buy a Nike+Ipod. A runner's must have.
