Re: Facial Cleanser?

  • I used to use Beauty Control, but I recently switched up to Lancome. It's a little pricey, but my face actually seems so much nicer and smoother without any breaking out whatsoever.  And, despite it being pricey, the product lasts a long time!!
  • I come from a family of people with bad skin - my sisters and I use acne free (similar to proactiv). Good enough for a couple of us, but not for my sister with a really bad acne problem She's switched to taking meds.
  • I use Aveeno Ultra Calming Foaming cleanser (love this and all its foamy glory and it's really gentle) and Neutrogena Daily Defense SPF 30 moisturizer.
  • Kind of funny you posted this...I just came from the F&B board as I was stalking for skin product reviews!  But I'm specifically looking for a miracle spot blemish treatment.  I have a feeling that by tomorrow I'm going to look like I ran into a wall!  I've got a whopper coming in right in the middle of my forehead...

I use Olay Total Effects Anti-Aging Anti-Blemish face wash.  Then I've been using an oil free face lotion as well as an oil free eye cream...both from a salon that my BFF works at (there's no name on the bottles).

I want a new face wash though...I've tried just about all of them...and this Olay product works best.  I just hate Proctor & Gamble with a passion!  They're horrible when it comes to animal testing.

  • I swear by Kiehls products. I've used them since I was 15 and my skin loves it. I made Alex try it a few years ago (he had bad acne growing up) and it totally changed his skin. Now we're both addicts. Right now, I use the Ultra Facial Cleanser and Yerba Mate Tea toner. In the winter, I love the Gentle Foaming Cleanser. I use Abyssine Cream with SPF year round.

The website is super user-friendly and it recommends products by skin type and/or problems areas. Highly, highly recommend Kiehls.

I survived the RoLex wedding and all I got was this lousy husband.

  • I have really good skin, but I do have a problem with wrinkles.

I started using Apriori a couple of months before my wedding.  It works great - less wrinklage and crows feet, less breakouts, shorter breakouts if it does happen at all.  The system (5 steps, morning and night) is more expensive than what I used to use, but I definitely saw results - my mom even commented on my less wrinkly forehead...

  • I use Artistry. It is awesome. I use the Balancing moisturizer, lotion and toner. In the winter i use the hydrating because my skin changes with the seasons.
  • I've used Aveeno Foaming Cleanser, Facial Scrub and Moisturizer for a while now and really like it.  Not too oily or dry.  I usually just switch between the cleanser and the scrub so that I'm not messing with my skin too much.  Both can be found at Target.
  • I'm an Oil of Olay girl.  What kind of skin do you have?
  • I guess combination of kinda oily and dry? lol. I get breakouts sometimes still in my "t zone"

  • I use the Neutrogena one thats a mask/cleanser.  I swear by it, I've tried everything and keep coming back to it.
  • After trying so many, I went back to my old tried and true noxema in the tub.  I also have a Clarisonic which I super duper puffy heart.
