Scandal brews in scandal-prone FL district
Right backatcha Democrats!
Tim Mahoney, the congressman who won Mark Foley's seat, (Foley was the guy voted out after the page non-sex sex scandal in 2006) was caught having an affair with a former staffer that he fired and paid hush money to cover it up. Better than that, it appears likely that Rahm Emanuel helped Mahoney hush it up so it wouldn't get out before election day. Republicans were bashed for hushing up Foley's scandal, so this is a particularly amusing scandal. Plus it's great to get back to the good ole' days where sex scandals involve actual sex.
