Official "Intro"
Hi everyone! I have posted a few time asking for help on things as I prepped to move. I can officially join the Austin board fun now... we moved in to our new place in San Marcos over the weekend. H is a disabled Army vet starting school at Texas State later this month and I am looking for a job. I worked as a public relations coordinator for a government organization before we moved and I am having a heck of a time finding something in my field here. I HATE JOB HUNTING!
We have a crazy bulldog and fat cat, but no children... yet (TTC is in our near future).
Anyway, HELLO!
Re: Official "Intro"

Good luck with the job hunt!!

TTC #1 since February 2011
BFP #1 1/14/12 EDD 9/24/12 m/c at 8w4d on 2/20/12
March 2012- Dx with PCOS, started metformin
July 2012- SA completely normal
My last job was in PR. I am focusing on looking for something in the same industry right now, but if things keep up the way that they are now I will look elsewhere! Quite honestly, I know my chances are fairly slim as I only have 16 months of post-college professional experience. I had internships while in school, but I graduated in December 2008 and it took me until April 2009 to find a job. I hatehatehate the uncertainty of job hunting and feel so much pressure now that H isn't working. He used to make more than double my income and we saved my entire paycheck every month. Now we'll be relying on my income primarily and his veteran's disability assistance will be a supplement to that (but it really isn't very much at all).
Anyway... that somehow got really long. LOL sorry!
Re: the bolded, thank you (and to the other poster that mentioned it)! I was only involved in his Army life for 2 1/2 years but it's definitely been a weird transition coming in to civilian life again!
