Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Park Slope here we come?
Hey ladies,
Just a follow up.. DH and I were out in NY last week for 5 busy days of apartment hunting and sight seeing.. I'm still tired from all of the walking we did!
We did however put a deposit down on an apartment in Park Slope and should hear any day now if we got it for sure. The broker (yeah, we ended up going through a broker) called yesterday and said the landlord needed another reference letter from my employer and asked what address to send the lease paperwork to.. So, I guess that means they like us? I plan on following up in the morning to be sure.
So cross your fingers that everything goes well and we're able to sell my car. We sold DH's car last week to a high school girl, but my car is a lot newer and more expensive, so I worry we won't be able to sell it 
If all goes well, DD and I will be flying out the night of September 17th and we'll be official NY Residents then!
