I bought a ton of peaches from our local produce market (I love this place!). Anyway, they were delicious juicy and sweet peaches. I decided to make vanilla peach jam with what I had left (9 peaches). It is soooo good, and actually set up like jam this time, yipee!!!
Last night I ground up green tomatoes, bell peppers, onions and cabbage to make chow with my grandma this afternoon, Im pretty excited, I hope this turns out as well!
Re: Canning success :)
That jam sounds yummy. Glad this canning experience turned out better.
Have fun with your grandma this afternoon

This is the recipe I used- it was easy
I did cut the bourbon, and added a teaspoon of unsalted butter (the butter supposedly doesnt make it foam-which it didnt so it worked I guess!).
