the shizz is hittin the fan . . .

Well - when it rains it pours! Please keep DH & I in your prayers if at all possible. We're in H3LL week right now.

DH just came off of going a week without his meds because of doctor - mail order pharmacy issues (LONG STORY!!!). Poor guy was a wreck - he takes anti-seizure medication and I was a wreck just worrying about him! He's never gone that long without and he needs to be on this medication. He could tell because things were just not right at all with him. Heck, I could tell! He finally got an emergency script for his meds Tuesday which actually took 2-days for the doctors office to get thier act together and call it in. For some reason - the doctors office definition of EMERGENCY SCRIPT = 72 Hour process time. Um - what part of EMERGENCY do you not understand?!?!?! I was SOOO ready to go down there and give one of them a piece of my mind. I just don't get it! Why would you not do that right away?  I mean when medication is detrimental for a persons wellbeing and without it it's dangerous - what's the problem, I mean - how hard is it to push that request thru? Needless to say - he's switching neurologists not only because of this, but numerous issues! Unreasonable issues I might add. Anyway - we both had a couple of vacay days off work because we were planning on going away, then ended up not doing anything because of this. His parents instructed me that he was not to drive without his meds in case he may have a seizure while driving - so he couldn't go to work because of it either.  I've never witnessed him have a seizure and thank God he didn't have one.

Well - he got his meds and went back to work yesterday only to find that now he's laid off of his job of 15-years - indefinately. Nothing he did - they just don't have enough work. In fact, from what he found out - the business may end up closing it's doors by Friday! Hopefully something will change - but we'll just have to wait and see.

So - talk about a stressful week!  Please pray that we get some good news soon!  Sorry this is so long - I've been trying to be supportive of him, but I'm freaking out right now.  I'm just not sure what is going to happen now.
