Caroline should be proud of me
I'm a fairly picky eater, but I blame it on the way I was raised. We were always a "meat and potatoes" family...a meal wasn't complete unless it contained a meat, a potato, and a veggie. And that was usually it. And in my mom's kitchen, "salt" is a spice.
I met a friend for lunch, and she suggested an Indian restaurant that has a buffet. So I agreed! She kinda explained to me what everything was, and warned me about what was probably spicy. My favorite was the chicken tikka masala (or however it's spelled). I thought it was really good!
I know that Caroline likes Indian food, which is why I think she'll be proud.

awesome!! i'm a picky eater - well, maybe i should rephrase it to say i'm a SIMPLE eater. sounds like i grew up in your mom's kitchen too.
since moving to guam, however, i have stepped ages out of my comfort zone, trying philippino, chamorro, thai, japanese, korean food and more... and i actually enjoy it!! some things i still cannot stomach, but i think dh is excited bc he's an adventurous eater and at least now that i know there will be at least 1 thing on the menu i'll enjoy, we try new places!
