As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Weird thing this morning
So this morning as I was backing out of my driveway, I looked over to my left and noticed a deer in our front yard. He was probably about 30 feet away from my car. I started to back up slowly, looked back at the deer again, and also noticed that one of our neighbors was out walking his dog. The deer acted like he was going to bolt so the neighbor put up his hand making a stopping motion at the deer. The deer froze. I finished backing up out of the driveway, the guy put his hand down then the deer started following him and the dog. Until I lost site of them, the deer was still following them down the road.
DH called about a minute later and was like "Did you see that?" Apparently, Bruno started going crazy, running back and forth from the door to the window. DH looked out and noticed the deer following the neighbor and his dog, but didn't see the guy holding up his hand.
The entire time, the neighbor's dog didn't bark either. It was the weirdest thing. It was like this guy was a deer-whisperer.

Lol thats crazy!!! We have tons of deer in our 'neighborhood'. Yesterday I saw two mommy dears and 3 little ones. Too cute

I've never heard of a deer following someone, much less someone with a dog!
That is really strange. I'd definitely have to ask the guy about it the next time I saw him.
We have a slope next to our driveway where it goes down around the side of the place...I guess there was a deer down there the other evening and he panicked when he heard my car and jumped up in the driveway in front of me. I was like "seriously...I'm going to hit a deer in the driveway!"
