I just got an invite to an Art Department Faculty luncheon next week. It will probably be boring as hell, but it just feels so official and professory to attend a faculty luncheon.

When I was in college, I was usually one of the english department's prize students that they trotted out for those sorts of things to be all like "And look what these fine young men and women are doing!" if they had a visiting poet or something and while, yes, it was a little bit boring, it was also pretty cool. I miss stuff like that.
Husbands should be like Kleenex: Soft, strong, and disposable.
Like that even needed to be suggested. Of course I'm doing that.
