I have been on the board for a couple of weeks responding here and there to posts (I especially liked the great porn debate) and thought I would go ahead and introduce myself. My name is Lora and my husband and I moved to Austin two years ago from Lubbock. I got my degree in Early Childhood Education from Texas Tech but decided not to go the whole teaching route because that would make too much sense, and so now I am a nanny.We just bought our first house a few months ago in Northwest Austin and I absolutely love this town. I look forward to chatting with you ladies and maybe even making it to a few meet ups. The mom I nanny for is actually the one who turned me on to this website because she is always talking about things going on over at The Bump. But I am definitely not there yet! Oh and please be patient with me because I still have not picked up the lingo that you ladies use. I have no idea what DH, AB, AD, or anything of that natures means!
