To the woman with "sex while on period" problem:
I know this was a little over a week ago, but maybe you are still hanging around.
Have you considered trying a menstral cup? I just recently started using them, and you have sex with them in as long as you are using the disposable kind. They are very comfortable, and they block 100% of your flow because they cover the cervix.
Try these ones. I bought them at my local grocery store (Kroger) and they work great! I know that they also sell them at some Walmart stores.
The idea may be a little bit intimidating at first, but I'm so glad that I gave it a try. I swear, I will never touch another tampon or pad again in my life.
GL!

Thank stinks that you has such a horrible experience! I have not had any of those problems. And for me the plastic ring went deep enough that DH said that he could hardly feel it, and he only felt it when leaning in a certain direction. I found that it held MUCH more than a tampon.
So, I guess not everyone has a great experience with it. But at any rate, it's worth a try to see how it does for you. They were only 5.50 a pack.
