Our oven is dying a slow death...
It took about 40 minutes to cook a frozen pizza last night. We've been in our house six years and the over has never really worked right, but this is the worst it's ever been. So I think it is time to start shopping.
Has anyone recently purchased a new gas stove? Just wondering who the top brands are these days. Anyone have access to Consumer Reports info?

I don't have oven recs but I would recommend getting a pizza oven if you do a lot of frozen pizzas.
We have one and love it! The crust is always crispy and the cheese nice and brown. The best part is you don't have to wait while the oven warms and heat the house in summer.

If you look up some of the previously mentioned ranges on a website like sears.com or bestbuy.com, you can also read reviews from customers who have purchased that item already. I always like to read those, since they come from people who are actually using the product on a regular basis.
All of our kitchen appliances are Whirlpool Gold, that's what was in the house when we bought it. I'm not thrilled with them. They don't seem any nicer than the Frigidaire ones we bought for our condo, and I know the Whirlpool Gold appliances cost a lot more - the previous owners of our house left all the paperwork and receipts with us so I know how much they paid. Our Whirlpool ones were not worth the money.
