XP: a good friend's brother just passed away :(
I just found out this afternoon from my friend's cousin. We're going
to the wake tomorrow evening. I would really really love to do
something for her and her family, but have no idea what. Flowers? Just a card? Fruit
basket?
I was near tears when my friend told me. He was 22 and
they were such a close-knit family. And she's getting married in
exactly a month from today!
Re: XP: a good friend's brother just passed away :(
I am so sorry. I would send some food or flowers, and yes a card is always nice, as well.

Any of the suggestions that were made are thoughtful and I'm sure will be appreciated by his family.

Bring the card, and I suggest sending a plant instead of flowers. I have a few plants sent to me when I was going through a loss and while it may not be a traditional choice I really love them, it feels like they are attached to the person somehow (I know that's kinda odd sounding perhaps) and I think of them every time I water the plant etc.

I am so sorry to hear that, that is so sad.
Have flowers/plant delivered to the funeral home. Bring the card with you, or mail it to their house.
