Good morning ladies and happy Friday! Wow, it is hot out there! This really makes me appreciate working inside, in the air conditioning. What does everyone have going on this weekend?
I'm hoping Christian can make it hope today from work. If not, this will be the 3rd wknd in a row of not seeing him b/c of work or racing. =( At least I get to spend 10 straight days with him next week! The only thing that we having going on is the seafood festival (if it's not too hot out) and probably packing for next week. Have a great weekend!

This week flew by and I have a feeling this weekend is going to as well! Tomorrow, there is a Raft Off at the bay we go to on our boat and everyone ties their boats up together. We're having some people over to go out with us and then meeting up with some of DH's family as well as his boss who will be out on their boats too. Then, on Sunday, I will become a godmother to my niece.
And then packing for my trip to Korea next week, I leave on Monday.

Hey gals! Alpal is headed off to Sea Island, GA for the weekend for work. Boo. So while he is "working" in the lap of luxury, I'm in for a weekend of birthday parties, bridal showers, and getting the apartment ready to put on the market September 1. Anyone interested in some prime NYC real estate?
But it isn't all mundane... Saturday night Cristina and Miss Mari are coming for a girls night in at Casa Choo...

Not too much planned for this weekend. Tomorrow I am being a good wifey and seeing The Expendables with the hubs and another friend and going out for dinner at an Indian restaurant beforehand...Mmmm

Happy Friday for sure!! I took this Friday off as one of my last "summer fridays" because next weekend I am getting shipped to Newport for the big WineFest for work. Today I am spending a girls day at the movies watching "Eat, Pray, Love" and then lunch with one of my best friends.
This weekend I am taking DH to get a massage (he doesn't know yet) and then we may go downtown for the Air Show but if it stays this hot we will be inside most of the weekend

I have a wedding tomorrow, so I'll be baking my heart away this afternoon / evening and decorate it tomorrow morning. This client actually asked if I'd stay for the reception to cut and serve the cake and since it's a former co-worker of Brian's I decided what the heck.... why not!
It's Bri's weekend to work so not much planned other than the wedding. It's my last weekend before going back to school again, so this old fart is going to relax and try not to be so freaking nervous!!

It's been a busy week and I'll most likely be taking work home with me - which I will most likely put off until Sunday night. Sometimes my job doesn't feel much different than graduate school, but I guess that's what I get for going into research.

Tomorrow is our AHR so I'm spending the rest of today getting ready for that. This weekend is also the annual fair in our tiny little town so we are going to take in those festivities as well.
We finally have a break in the heat, at this this morning anyway it has been raining, still sticky out there though. I do appreciate my a/c job! This weekend I have a family reunion from my mom's side and this is the first one we are going to married! We never ended up having an AHR so my mom really wanted us to come to say hi to everyone as a married couple, otherwise we don't make it every year. On the way there we are going to stop to look at one of those small 5 ft wide airplanes for sale. I found it on CL and DH has been wanting one so that might be his bday present which is in a couple weeks.

Work was sooo slow this week. I'm so glad I don't have to go back until Wednesday! DH and I are going to visit his family in Springfield, MO. It should be a fun time.
