Plans for the weekend......
Friday- It's my co-worker's Birthday and her hubby just got back from Afghanistan on Monday! So we are going out tonight to celebrate with them.
Saturday- DH leaves for Calgary and I am going to see Eat, Pray, Love with a friend.
Sunday- I was supposed to be going to Calgary (3 hour drive) for DH's game. But since they are 1-5 and Calgary is our biggest rival there is no way I am going. The fans are mean, even though I go to games in normal clothes/not team colors they taunt you if you're not cheering for the Stamps. It would not be a fun game to sit through. So I am going to enjoy it from the comfort of my couch with another wife, and lots of beer!
Monday- I took a long weekend. It's DH's bye-week so he is off and we are going to the big water park here for the day!
Re: TGIF
Is that the one in the mall?
Friday- We really don't have any plans for tonight. Depending on how it is outside, maybe we'll take the dog for a walk since they just installed new sidewalks in our town.
Saturday- I have a much needed hair appointment. I haven't found anywhere here that I like so this is my third salon now. Massachusetts is also having its "tax free holiday" this weekend (where there is absolutely no sales tax on any purchases minus big ticket items like a car or a boat) so I'm hoping to take advantage of that.
Sunday- I fly out to Orlando for work for the week for training. Not loving Orlando in the middle of August but I could be like one of my friends (who works for the same firm) who went to Chicago in January.
Friday- Our young adult ministry at church is hosting a relationship forum tonight so I'll be there alone since DH is in Phoenix for training. But he comes home tonight so then I'll have to stay awake so I can get him from the airport! WOOHOO!!
Saturday- No plans, but it should be cooler outside, which means it may hit mid-90s instead of 107. Yes, I know that's sad. So I may venture out of the house.
Sunday- Church in the morning and no plans.
Yes, it is! Which is perfect since it's too cold out to go swimming, it has been a super crappy summer!
KeyRyn- How does DH like the new job?
BFP #1 2/28/12- 3/3/12 CP at 4w3d
BFP #2 4/1/12- 5/7/12 Missed M/C at 8w4d (measuring 6w3d)
TTC on hold until December
Misa - Do you work for KPMG? My friends who used to work for them had training in Orlando in August every year.
Today: Took DH to the plastic surgeon for a plan of action to help him heal quickly. Tonight we are going to go pick up a pizza and watch a movie.
Saturday: No plans. Possibly pulling out the fire pit for a bonfire in our driveway.
Sunday: No plans. We're boring.
He LOVES it! He mostly likes the normal hours (when he was a reporter he always worked weekend nights so he is loving being home Saturday and Sunday) but he does like the actual work of helping people get into school. Thanks for asking.
Last night (Friday)- I got DH's favorite...Buffalo Wild Wings to go and we ate those and watched a movie.
Tonight (Sat)- we are driving to Dallas (for a wedding tomorrow) and we have reservations for this awesome movie theater that serves dinner while you watch your movie! We are seeing the Expendables there. And a fun night at a hotel!
Sunday- Two of our great friends from college are getting married! The venue is BEAUTIFUL and it will be a fantastic wedding. Then we are staying in Dallas and coming home early Monday because I start teacher training next week.
No offense, but I won't say on here (no clue who is lurking on these boards) since if I say no, then there are only three other companies I could work for and if I say yes, well then it's publicly known. And since I talk about the cities I live/work, it would make it very easy for someone creepy to locate me. But all the Big 4 usually send their employees to Orlando for trainings (especially in the summer) since it's hurricane season and everything is cheaper.
But I'll send you a PM about it.
Fri- We celebrated our five month anniversary with chinese food at my favorite restaurant in the area and we watched Inception. Great movie, was a fabulous night.
Sat- We went on a treasure hunt, Estate sale, yard sales and thrift store shopping. It was so much fun. We were super tired afterward..
Sunday We slept waaaay in and missed morning service for church. So we went in the evening. It was nice to see everyone, splendid day.
Monday- DH had some job related stuff to do early.I started missing him before he left, But, its necessary. I still feel that pitter patter when he gets home.
