So finally after over a year my carpeting complaint with Empire is finally being addressed and hopefully fixed for good. Just wanted to let you all know that the independant contractor that is fixing the job actually makes a living "fixing their f*ck ups" as he put it. Unbelieable! Buyer beware. Empire is a scam of a company and I wish I would have never fallen for their "good deal".
Re: Carpet Drama
If you hadn't warned us I would have bought carpet from there! Now I am just going to deal with the tile floors.
I am glad they are at least going to fix the issue.
Glad it is getting settled.
Becuase of your story, I told my sister to aviod them when she was getting new carpet for her house.
So see, two lost sales (including Becky's) because of their shitty service to you!!
i'm glad it's finally getting fixed! and i third the other two girls.. if i ever hear people talking about going with empire for their new carpet, i tell them to avoid it like the plague! hey - if it's too good to be true, it usually is, anyway, right!
lesson learned, for all of us!
