Just so you know all teenage boys suck VENT
When you are a mother of 17 year old twin girls all boys & men even suck!
I don't know how my mom survived my teen years and the boys I brought home off and on. Most of them were good guys but some of them OMG they were idiots. My daughters I am hoping find someone decent normal and treat them the way they should be treated because as of right now all of the guys they bring home suck!!!!
Sorry I just got done talking to a friend about the girls choices in the male sex and it just leaves me a bit unsettled. Thank you for listening!!!
Re: Just so you know all teenage boys suck VENT
I'm sure I worried my parents sick with all the punk rocker boys I brought home. Hanging out in local bars on the weekends (yes, while I was in high school) to see the local punk bands... tattoos, piercings...I'm sure my parents LOVED them....
Luckily, I grew out of it!!
The boys they liked in middle school were ok. They have brought home a few nice ones but OMG the ones that they are attracted to now are driving me insane. I know its a phase I just hope that it is a phase that doesn't last a lifetime. Grrrr!
Its horrible but of course we have them over for dinner and can I tell you there has been a couple that I have wanted to say NO I will not feed you get the hell out and don't talk to my daughter agian. I don't because I know that saying know just makes them want to say yes. Grrrr it drives me crazy. I love them and I want them to be treated with respect and there is NO WAY in HELL that they are treating my children the way they should be treated.
I look at all you lovely younger ladies and keep thinking there is hope. They will be ok. Look these girls found normal guys so my daughters are gonna stumble across a respectable guy one day i just know it. Well I hope it I pray it. I have been praying for my daughters since they were born that they would find someone one day they should be with. I know they have to kiss a lot of toads but this momma can't wait till she doesn't have to meet all of the toads as well
My sister is just starting her teenage years. She's 13 and has huge crushes on 17 year old high school boys. I'm very concerned about her because once I told her not to do anything she'll regret and she said that she's not making me any promises :S
I've dated probably more than my fair share of "sucky boys" when I was a teenager. I'm glad that I found the great guy that I married.
Good luck with your daughters. I'm sure they will grow out of it, especially when they meet a decent guy someday.
Well, Pam, you could take the approach my parents did-- homeschool back in the middle of nowhere, keep a lot of guns in the house at all times, and make sure that there are no other teenagers within a 5-mile radius.
Everyone I knew in my age range was female (Girl Scouts was my one and only social outlet), a relative, or the younger brother of one of my friends.
I remember having to go take a test to be eligible for some scholarship. I was about 16, maybe 17. I was stuck waiting in line behind a couple of boys and we had a conversation. I don't remember what it was about, but I do remember that I went home and emailed all of my friends the huge news that I had TALKED TO BOYS.
I really wish I were kidding. But hey, even I turned out mostly okay!
