We leave in 2 weeks. We're still trying to sort out the plans. Any great restaurants? Any must do activities?
Re: Maui recs
We went last summer and loved it. My fave restaurant was Kimo's in Lahaina. I heard good things about Mama's Fish House, but we didn't get to try it out. We also did the Old Lahaina Luau and loved it. Great food, drinks, and amazing entertainment.
We did a zipline tour with Skyline Eco Adventures after coming down from Mt. Haleakala and loved it. They have another course in Ka'anapali that I'd like to try if we ever go back. We did a kayak/snorkeling tour with Kelii's Kayak and our guide was awesome. It was a small group and had tons of time for great snorkeling. We also did the Molokini snorkel with Maui Classic Charters which was fun. The boat was pretty crowded, but they did serve burgers/hot dogs and an open bar for the way back to the island.
Definitely let me know if you have any other questions. I'm sure you'll have a great time!
we rented a sporty convertible and drove the hana highway. that was awesome.
it's been many, many years but I do remember mama's fish house being good. I believe it's owned by a company who has a few different restaurants close by.
we went on a catamaran trip to lanai - it was pretty cool! we saw little spinner dolphins - they jump in the air, twirl around, and their bellies get pink.
