Just a little too much for one day.
The Mr. and me were supposed to head back home to Michigan today for a HUGE annual party at my dad's that is taking place tomorrow. My uncle is town (haven't seen in 3 years) and my cousin is also in from Boston and many other people. We have had rain coming through our ash pit door in a basement
fireplace during heavy down pours and last night was no exception. And when I say rain, I mean about 4 ShopVacs full in a
hour. Since we are expecting another storm this evening, we have decided not to go. I am so bummed. 
Also, I just got off the phone with a friend and found out another friend of ours has colon cancer at the age of 37. He's in surgery right now and we should now more this evening on how advanced it is.
Thanks for letting me vent.
