Re: Quiz: What are you looking forward to...
...In the next week? ...My Grandparents are having their surprise 50th Anniversary party next weekend! I am just so happy for them. Their relationship is one that both I and DH admire and hope that ours will compare to.
...In the next month? ...Two of DH's friends are getting married in September. I can not believe just how much I can not wait to be a guest at a wedding, rather than being the one to have it. It's going to feel so good!
...In the next year? ...This may be the easy way out of this question but I just look forward to spending time with my DH and see our marriage continue to grow stronger as time goes by. I really can not wait to see what life brings us!

**Planning Bio**
In the next week: I get to help my MOH get ready for her wedding, including going to learn how to bustle up her dress this weekend and see her since she lives out of town!
In the next month: Well, her wedding and not only being a guest but also her MOH. Also, I get to see Rhianna this month with a bunch of girl friends....should make for a fun time!
In the next year: Finishing my classes (I go part time while I work full time), and around March we will start TTC!!
...In the next week - We are going to see Zac Brown this weekend and then headed to the shore with DH's family for a long weekend (I'm off Monday)
...In the next month - Well a little over a month - We are both in my BIL's wedding. Joe is the Best Man and I am a BM. Looking forward to seeing things from that angle (and then again in October for ANOTHER wedding we are both in!!)
...In the next year - Working on finishing our basement and home improvement projects. And if all goes according to plan, we will be TTC around June/July
In the next week: the 100-year anniversary for Cody's new workplace is this weekend...looks to be a fun time!
In the next month: moving into our new apartment!
In the next year: enjoying life together...we really don't have any plans, yet.
In the next week : We are headed to CA next Wednesday to meet with our photographer and make our album...We'll also get to see a lot of friends and family. Uggh...I miss having friends and family close!
In the next month: Getting back to work and a normal routine. I'm a teacher and our first day back is the 25th. I'll also be starting grad school.
In the next year: Settling into our life as husband and wife...getting used to my new name
In the next week... spending a date night with my little sister! We're going shopping, nice dinner, and movie next weekend!
In the next month... moving into our awesome new apartment! And decorating! I can't wait.
In the next year... hubby prommised me a puppy within the next six months after we move into our new place (our old one didn't allow dogs)! Yippee!
In the next week...getting rid of my cold, getting the spare room cleaned out/organized, and seeing some friends I haven't seen in a while. Possibly Jimmy Buffett concert #1.
In the next month...my cousin's wedding shower, possibly Jimmy Buffett concert #2, getting all the start of school stuff out of the way.
In the next year...hopefully getting pregnant, attending two more weddings, learning to cook more things, hopefully paying down our debt and saving enough money to either get a bigger house or add an addition on to the one we have.
...In the next week?
School starts back up, so I will get to see all of my kiddos. They are in Junior High and I know that some of them grew a ton this summer! Plus, they will be dying to see wedding pics.
...In the next month?
Nothing really. In November, we are taking a mini-vacation to SC!
...In the next year?
Possibly becoming more stable in my career and our best man will be getting married and DH is his best man.
In the next week: Unpacking my new office so that I can box up our kitchen and open up and start to use our wedding gifts!
In the next month: Going to a wedding of one of our Groomsmen, and going to Citi Field to see a Mets Game and for DH to see his Fanwalk Brick!
In the next year: Nothing too specific as of yet, but hopefully just growing happily into our marriage.

...In the next week? My cousin's bridal shower and Grandpa's 80th birthday this weekend!
...In the next month? Meeting with grad schools and looking for job opportunities! Oh and painting our kitchen tomorrow!
...In the next year? Just being a newlywed basically?
Jacqui, that's so exciting about Japan! My new hubbie and I want to do a year living abroad before we buy a house, so if I don't go to grad school in an exotic location, we're going to try doing that same thing!
In the next week: I'm taking a computer course outside of work. Its only a day long course but work pays for it so its a win win situation!!
In the next month: Moving into our new apartment
In the next year: Seeing more of my in-laws (they just moved to our city), possibly buying a house and settling in as newleyweds

...In the next week?
Just getting my house cleaned up... organizing a lot of things, selling wedding things, etc. I just can't wait to have my house back!!
...In the next month?
Hopefully, hopefully starting a real, permanent, full-time job. I don't want to be a substitute anymore. I have one prospective job but no guarantee that I'll get an interview, never mind the position, but it will be a few weeks until I find out.
...In the next year?
Hopefully by next year we can start thinking about buying a house. Right now it's just a dream... And we are also thinking of going back to Alaska next summer. Crazy, since we want to save for a house... but I am dying to go back, and I don't want to get tied down with a house and family and have to wait until I'm 60!
In the next week... One of my BM's is getting married on Saturday and I am in her wedding, so I am excited for all of the festivities!
In the next month... DH graduates from the police academy in a little over a month and I CANNOT wait
In the next year... Enjoying life with my DH and hopefully going on a big trip sometime in the spring or summer!

We're going on our honeymoon on Friday

I got a job that I'm starting a few days after I get back from the honeymoon! It's just a 90-day contract for now but if I like it and if I do a good job I think they'll hire me on full time

My H is graduating from grad school with his doctorate in physics
So we're going to end up moving wherever he can get a good job, so far we're looking at LA, St. Louis, Salt Lake City, and Chicago as possibilities. I'm looking forward to getting out of here! (Here being Cleveland

It kind of is.
I don't think we'll come back in the future either (a lot of people I know moved away after college but are planning on coming back in like 5 years to start a family and all that) but we'll see ... it's just that the job market is so bad around here that I wouldn't count on ever being able to find a good job. But houses are cheap haha.
...In the next month? -- I'm doing a rotation with a gyn next week who is supposed to be amazing. And I love women's med, so it should be great!
...In the next year? -- Graduating! I can't believe it will be less than a year... and we'll also likely be gearing up to move around this time next year. I'm going to Idaho next month to do a rotation with a ND there for a week, and DH will be joining me for the last half of the week.... if it looks good, we most likely will be Boise-bound next year!
...In the next week?
Getting my house cleaned up and doing our thank you notes (just got our photocard ones from shutterfly and they're awesome!!!!!)
...In the next month?
Finishing renovating our upstairs bathroom and maybe starting on the downstairs one soon!

Re-doing more stuff in our house, getting my career in order, paying off lots of bills. And enjoying married life, of course!

...In the next week?
Let's see- we are looking at houses tonight, going to my brother-in-law's place for a party on Saturday and I am finishing packing up all my stuff 350 miles away on Sunday!! I can't wait to be back in Chicago for good!
...In the next month?
I start what I consider my first "real" job on Sept. 1!! We also are going to a ND game and one of my cousin's weddings.
...In the next year?
Finally being settled and having a normal routine. Hopefully we will be in a house, we will have relatively normal work schedules (no more 14 hour days as a post-doc for me... woo hoo!) and just get to enjoy it all! Also, we are going on our honeymoon probably in January (location to be determined, but we are considering the Barenaked Ladies Ships & Dip cruise!), and a second one in May (eastern europe)! And about three more weddings (Ohio, Boston, Denver)... so those should all be fun!!
I'm a little late!! We just got back from our "mini-moon" so I'm trying to catch up on all of the posts!
In the next week....I'm spending a day with one of my best friends before she goes back to school in a different state.
In the next month....Okay I'm cheating. In a month and a half, we find out where DH will be stationed for his job. We know it will be in Nebraska, just don't know what town.
In the next year....GRADUATING! I absolutely cannot wait! I have a semester of classes this fall, and then in the spring I will be student teaching. I'm also very excited for student teaching. Also within the next year, I'm looking forward to seeing DH grow into his new career. He just loves it, so it's very exciting to watch it all happen.
