I apologize in advance...
...to all you ladies that are my friends on FB. Tonight starts off the NFL Preseason, meaning that over the next 20 weeks, my statuses will mainly consist of something football/Saints related.
Some possibly in caps and others about different teams. I am a die-hard, hardcore Saints and football fan, so my emotions mixed with the FB app on my iPhone lead to lots of statuses during games. 
Anyway, how has everyone been lately? Our computer has been broken and it's still not working properly, but I'm finally able to use it again.

I have no team affiliations or loyalties, however I do enjoy watching a good game. H has zero interest in watching non-water sports, but I grew up watching with my dad who is a die-hard sports fan.
We are near the end of week 4 of H's injury. We have a consultation with a plastic surgeon tomorrow to figure out what the best course of action might be to get his leg to heal. Neither of the two options presented so far seem fun (wound vac or skin graft). I'm praying that this injury doesn't prevent us from going on our vacation to Boston over Labor Day weekend to see my family. It's been 5 years since I've seen my extended family and I miss them! I don't want to have to make the decision whether or not to go without him.
In other news, BFF should be having her baby within the next week!
I don't think we can be FB friends during football season! My time at Penn State has led me to have a strong distaste for all Steelers fans. Haha
As per usual I have to agree with Misa. I had Patriots season tickets growing up, enough said. Oh and my husband is a big Steelers fan, so that adds to my general dislike.
On a different note you'll have to forgive me in advance, because by October I will be so sick of football I'll want to hurl something at my TV....and definitely not talk about it! See DH started training camp in June. During the summer CFL games are played Thursday-Sunday, so I not only attend/watch his games but also all of the other games to see what the oponents are doing. Then in August/Sept. NFL starts, so we not only watch games on Sunday, Thursday and Monday but he is also glued to the NFL network in between. Oh, then NCAA and CIS (Canadian equivalent) start up. And heaven forbid we miss a game of our alma mater on TV, oh and we go to the University of Alberta home games too when we can. In a nutshell football is on my tv 24/7 and then DH comes home from "work" and discusses his team. By the middle of the Fall I am so burnt out it is not even funny! June-February it's my life.

I'm not sure we can be friends during football season either. I'm a HUGE Steelers fan, but growing up in Happy Valley has made me want to vomit when I think about Penn State football with Joe Pa and their We Are chant.
oh he's hating me b/c I'm absolutely thrilled that I won't have to deal with football sundays this season b/c he works weekends *yippee*. Ok well its only a *yippee* for the winter, truly sucks now that we miss out on doing things while the weather is beautiful.
i'm so not a football fan ... I'll watch the SuperBowl, but that's about it.
now talk about Yankee baseball and well that's a whole nother ballgame lol
I've always been a Yankees fan as well. But I have to definitely cheer for my hometown team, the Tigers!

I'm not much of a sports fan, but I totally go for Red Sox baseball. There's something amazing about Fenway.
