Do you move furniture prior to mopping hardwood floors?
Also, how often do you mop them?

I don't move the furniture, although perhaps I should. I mop them once a month, by rotating to a different room every week. I sweep them every week.
Quick dust mop every 1-3 days, mop once per month, clean spots/spills as needed. My dust mop can get under low furniture easily so I don't move anything. Since you aren't walking on those areas (and therefore aren't creating smudges, streaks, or grinding in dirt) they really only need dusting/sweeping regularly.
