NER: CA wildfire season....again
Its fire season again in CA, lots of fires sprouting all over the place today. Just hoping we dont get anymore by ourhouse...it was WAY too close for comfort last year...as in the fire actually came up to and in some place on the property of our partment complex and we had to evacuate. So this time of year always makes me nervous. The air is very very dry and the winds are high.

So far there is a huge fire south of us on Camp Pendalton military base, one west of us that is pretty small and a couple big ones north of us in LA and Ventura Counties.?
Send some fire safety dust our way!

Last year's Malibu fire rained ask on our wedding day (the winds knocked out power to the synagogue for most of the day).
We have friends in Porter Ranch who evacuated ... My ILs are near the 118 at DeSoto -- I hope they don't have to evac.
There was ash all over near my home this morning (I'm sure it is a mess now).

Fire Season is usually late August through Early December. Anytime the weather gets dry and the Santa Anas pick up. This was actually almost exactly the same time as the huge fire storm last year.

I keep looking outside at all the smoke..its nasty out there.?
