Halloween/costume store? (ALB)

Is there a seasonal place that opens up in Albany? I feel like I remember one last year.. I was thinking it was in the old spot where Old Navy was but I don't think so. Somewhere on Central, like between Colonie/Nisky? Anywhere else? (Or anywhere that has cheap kid's costumes and a good selection?)

I saw the sign yesterday for the one that opens each year in the old Barnes and Noble building on Wolf - next to Toys/Babies R Us.

I think the place you're referring to on Central between Colonie and Nisky is The Costumer, and that's open year-round.

YES - i was thinking of the one in the old B&N!

And the Costumer, I just didn't know it was open year round (I never go by there).

There's actually a place closer to you than all of those. There's one on Western up past the 20 mall on the opposite side. I forget the name but both this place and the Costumer is open year round for local plays and such.

The place past 20 Mall. If it's the place I'm thinking of, it's on the right heading away from Crossgates. A gray house, maybe?

That place (on Western) closed a few years ago. The building was ripped down and so it is an empty lot now.

LOL shows what I know. Last time I went there was at least 4 years ago. Looks like you can go to the Costumer or the old Barnes and Noble ones that show up this time of year.
