If you have a veggie garden...
Have your crops been not so plentiful, or bad?
My parents have a large garden, last year the tomatoes were crazy. But, this year 2 plants look bad. The roma tomatoes have a wooden/petrified feeling and black spots on the bottom of the tomatoes.
The only plants that did well this year were cucumbers and jalapenos.
Re: If you have a veggie garden...
A coworker of mine lives on a small farm and said almost her entire peach crop was full of worms. We were all sad b/c she was planning to bring peaches to us at work.
We've had the opposite problem here...I know a lot of local farmers have had issues because we had so much rain and so little sun earlier in the summer.

all I have gotten is 3 cukes. no tomatoes. no yellow squash. no zucchini. no potatoes. all my herbs are dead.
drat!
Crap! That really sucks Brandi
I was hoping to get free veggies this year to can and freeze for the winter from my parents
I hope next year will be better. I do have a basil plant and it looks awful too (on my windowsill). Sucks.
