  • I have a Juiceman, and have had several. Its kind of a pain to clean as well. I don't use it that often.

If I could have any, it'd be the Vitamix. *swoon*

We have a Vitamix, but I wouldn't cal it a juice machine.

Our juice machine is a Champion.  It's more powerful, H says, than his first lawnmower.

they're seriously hardcore and crazy expensive.

They'll also turn anything, and I mean anything into Juice.

  • They must all be a PITA to clean. I have one that someone gave to me when they got tired of messing with it. I've used it maybe 5 times in the last 2 years. It's a lot of work when it's time for clean up.

  • We love our Jack LaLanne (sp?) juicer.  It's a lot easier to clean if you break it down IMMEDIATELY and rinse everything off before it dries. HTH!!

  • We have a Warring one that's (relatively) inexpensive. We weren't sure how we would like juicing so we decided to start there. They can be a pain to clean, especially if you don't rinse it right away. In reality it takes only minutes, but I think it feels tedious because you're doing it every day or even twice a day and they all have multiple parts.

I like that ours has a small footprint since it stays out. I wish the juice was smoother (I'm highly anti-pulp), but I found that adding a little banana or ice help disguise the pulp. I also wish it could take larger pieces to cut down on pre-cutting. Someday we'll likely move to a fancier juicer, but we've enjoyed ours and it works great.

  • I bought a used breville from my friend.  I wasn't sure how much I would like juicing and if it would be a pita to clean.  I love it!!  The breville is easy to operate and easy to clean.  When I am ready to move on I will invest in the champion that pp mentioned.
