GRR! The Gap
I found the perfect black dress for the memorial service that is THIS Saturday online at the gap. I go to order it, I have 20% off, i'm siked. For whatever reason I need my card even though everything is saved. I can't find it (this is Thursday night). I frantically rip the house apart... yesterday, I find it! I go to reenter and it freezes my account and I have to call.
UGH, now I have to pay for fast shipping, and I have to wait until tonight to go home and call. It would totally be DW knottie approved. OH AND..I wanted to order it in two sizes just to make sure... and 1 size is backordered.

I just bought a new black dress yesterday at Lane Bryant. I'm not sure if you wear their stuff, but it's REALLY cute! Here's the link

Ooh, I do like that one. I have a hard time at Lane Bryant because i'm short, a lot of their stuff just doesn't fall right on me.
If I can't work things out with GAP, I may have to find a LB store!
i went to the gap on saturday and did the 40% off deal - and i brought home this dress in the wrong size - grrrr. So, I call the store today - they have no extra smalls, but they give me the number to the other gap in town. None there. So they tell me to call the 800 number and maybe they'll honor the coupon for me to return the dress and get the smaller size. So after sitting on hold FOREVER, and being notified that they've "decided to honor the coupon this one time" they are out of the dress in my size.

The dress is super cute though! Maybe they will restock it in a few weeks. Can you hold on to the other dress in the meantime and maybe they will give you an 'even exchange'?
LOL, i know. fortunately, DH had the idea to call the Gap in Cincinnati bc he had to go up there for work today. They had one and held it for me, and he exchaged it for me. (I'm sure that was cute - Kyle in his hospital scrubs carrying a purple dress in to the gap to get another size)
