Need to get our thank you's out. Need help with this last one...

I decide which name(s) to use based on who the person is and how well they know us. close family gets our last name. his family gets our last name. my friends that won't necessarily recognize his last name, get mine and his. and, I've also just put our address, with no name. not sure that really helps you, but it's what i've been doing....and I certainly don't keep up with etiquette rules, so you may not want to use my method ;-)

I don't care about etiquette at all. Just trying to simplify things so I can just run some sheets of labels. Not sure whether or not people will recognize his last name only. I assume knowing we just moved to Chicago, they would realize. Hmm... might be better to just use both.

I kept my name so our address labels for our thank you's had my first and last name and his first and last name. But I don't plan to go by his last name at all, so it was partly to clarify to everyone that my name is still the same.

I have a ton of free return address stickers I got in the mail that have my maiden name on them and his name is not on them at all. I use them. Our address is temporary and I'm not willing to (a) spend the money to buy new return address stickers or (b) take the time to make my own.

for my thank yous I had either: Mr & Mrs Hislastname or

Danielle & Gary (our first names)

I just wrote "Last name. Address." No "The" before the last name. But I don't know if I'm much help because I just took his last name.

I took HH's last name so on the return address it said Ben & Katy lastname. When I signed the cards I just used our first names.
