mopping kitchen floor, how often do you mop behind....
stove, fridge or any other appliance that needs to be moved?
Re: mopping kitchen floor, how often do you mop behind....
When we move I will have to clean behind the fridge. I've done it a couple of times throughout each year of living here but nothing I break my back over doing. It is in a tough spot and very hard to pull out and clean under/behind. I really try to use the vacuum to suck up as much as I can once a week around and partially under so that when it comes time to clean it isn't as hard. Our new place will have a fridge that is really easy to clean under so I can't wait for that!
I can't even imagine why you would do this. So, never.
I worry about scratching floors and/or loosening connections every time we've had to pull something out.
We have an appliance brush to swipe underneath and get out any dust or cat hair that's building up underneath. But that's for the sake of the appliance, not the floors.

I do it twice a year. Your fridge will run better if there's not a lot of dust build up. Our moves out pretty easily.
The stove, however, has only been moved once in nearly 3 years of living here. And I have never touched the dishwasher. I don't even know if it would move!

Behind the stove probably once a season. My drawer pulls entirely out, so I clean under it all really easily.
Behind the fridge I've done one in 4 years. Our frige is oversized/heavy and jammed pretty tight between the wall and counter, so it's almost immovable on a regular basis. I refuse to think about what may or may not be behind there.
