I'm OFFICIALLY on a diet! I had gained 4lbs since the wedding and was doing ok with that but this morning I got on the scale and I've gained 4 more!! I'm NOT ok with that =[ I know its because I've been really lazy lately. HH and I haven't been working on our house or anything, just laying on the couch all evening after work. Well its time to get my butt in gear! I'm going to start walking the dog every evening or something, but I've got to loose this weight! I'm so frustrated with myself for letting this happen =[

I can sympathize with you on this one. I have gained around 5 pounds and for whatever reason, it is making me feel awful. Like can't choose a comfortable outfit type of awful.
I am joining the gym across the street from our house- I've been saying I would since we moved in, but it had yet to happen!

lump me in with the weight gainers, too!!!! I've heard they call it the "Newlywed Nine". Adam and I are going to start riding bikes at night when it's not so freakin hot.
HH is wanting to sign up at our local gym and I'm all for it to, but we don't really have time right now. I still need to exercise though. I could always start running up and down our staircase lol
My weight gain isn't so much just after the wedding. I didn't diet or make any attempt to lose weight before my wedding but I have probably put on 5-10 lbs since January.
I'm with PP, clothes just are not comfortable. Not because they are tight or anything but just because I don't feel good in them anymore.
This is my problem with my dress pants for work. The pair I'm wearing right now are very uncomfortable. My jeans and tops still fit for the most part though.
I so hear you - DH and I both gained about 10 lbs after the wedding & HM.
I lost a few of those but now that I'm pregnant, I don't think now is the time to diet, lol. I'm keeping as active as usual (daily walks with the dog, I hit the gym on the wknd with DH for the elliptical, and I'm part of a pro bellydance troupe so I have a 2 hour rehersal every week plus anything extra I do on my own for that).
I don't want to be the pregnant woman who uses the developing baby as an excuse to eat everything in sight. Luckily for me it's still early enough that the ravenous appetite hasn't quite kicked in yet....so I'm still feeling sort of in control in the food dept...
I hate when people say you are eating for two during pregnancy. I think it makes people think they can eat twice as much as normal. I've read that you only need an extra like 2-300 calories a day when you are pregnant! Jeeze.
Keep on exercising CT! I think just that you are aware of the tendency to gain too much, it should help you out a lot in avoiding it!
