Random Thoughts
I had some random thoughts going through my head as I was going to get a cup of coffee.
- I am the youngest person in my office. Other than maybe 3-4 people I have the least years in the business....BUT I know more about the business than others. I dont understand that. How can you work in a business for 15+ yrs and know less than someone who has been in it for less than 10 years?
- I feel my shirt is inappropriate today. I have worn it to work numerous times, but I feel it's not appropriate for work anymore. I think it's a weekend type shirt.
- my right shoe is hurting my baby toe
- Religious people who make comments like "you have failed as a parent when you grown children are not in church" need to be smacked! That is all I am going to say on this issue or I will get on my soap box for an hour.
- I am dragging my feet about purchasing my ticket to LA.

-I'm getting really tired of people going to my birth month board on the Bump and announcing the sex of their baby, but I've never seen them before and I'm on the board everyday. I'm talking like 10 announcements a day from people I've never seen before. I don't give a flyingfuk that you are having a boy or a girl, you've never posted here before.
-My sister asked me to get together for lunch next week and I told her I'm going to be in Berkeley all week, even though I will only be there for three days, because I know she is going to want to talk about her feelings and I'm sick and tired of her.
-I really want to eat a cupcake, but have a dr. appt. in an hour and don't want to add the calories to my body when I get weighed in.
-I've stopped responding to friends on facebook when they send me a message or ask me about DH and I moving next month. I'm over talking about it and don't want to talk about it anymore.
*I'm probably one of the only people that eats ketchup on egg noodles.. i also eat ketchup on potato filled perogis...
*i really missed gio today...work was dreadful
*I wonder why my cousin decided it was appropriate to skip out on the after party for Gio's christening to do wedding stuff... he couldn't pick out a wedding band another day?
*i really need to start cooking more often or Gio is going to be eating mac & cheese, grilled cheese and eggs for the rest of his life lol
~ I have realized the only reason I am upset that Chris is going to these Phish shows this week are that they may play our wedding song and he gets to be there to hear it and I dont. His friend told him he shouldnt come home if they do since I wsa the one that initiated this trip only to be told by work that I cant take the week of because its too close to school starting
~ I have a huge huge cook book of recipes that I have collected from here and there and I am a total recipewhore, but I havent tried a new one in ages.
~ I bought 10 Phillies tickets for $12 a peice!!! Which is an insanely low price considering they jacked up the price of everything at that place since they went to the World Series. But Chris and I and 8 of our friends are going up for Chris and my brothers birthdays on Sunday after a huge party my mom and I are throwing them at our beach house.
~ We got Chase's teacher assignment and he is not happy about it. He wanted "the boy teacher" I want the boy teacher too, but they didnt give us what we wanted. Boy I hope this school year goes better than last year.
~ Chase's behavior has improved by 1000% this summer. I totally blame it on the lack of chemistry between him and his old teacher.
Remember my big toe incident? When I smashed it with Eric's oxy tank...well, it was so swollen that we had an emergency surgery operated at my work. It's kinda funny and embarrassing at the same time, but they made a hole in my toenail and it released the swelling...and now my toe is all better, but my toenail? All gone...I have a naked big toe. Eric calls it a naked chicken nugget. I'm hoping for a speedy growth and return of my toenail. LMAO.
My kitchen is a mess, and I'm still cooking in it while I can. We are in remodel mode - Eric took down all the kitchen cabinets, and is sanding them and refinishing them all. If we had an earthquake right now, all my glasses and precious stuff would fall out. He even installed hinge adaptors so I won't smack all my kitchen cabinets anymore. This weekend, we are taking out the black tile, and installing granite counter tops and adding subway tile for backsplash. I'm kinda scared and excited for this project. I'm hoping for a smooth remodel and no headaches.
Umm, my car? I don't have one this week. My brakes have complete gone to the $ hit and we have the appt to get new brakes on it - this Friday. Until then, Eric drops me off at work and I hitch a ride from my coworkers home. We just replaced Eric's brakes this past Friday, and now my car this week. Uhhhh, double whammy on both on cars.
My food blog...is looking fantastic. I did a major remodel on it, but I don't know if I'm completely happy with it.
My Florida vacation is in 2 weeks, and I'm counting down the days.
