Do you wear your emotions on your sleeve?
I hate that I do. I just can't help it but if I am p!ssed off I can't hide it.
We haver a new "chef" (by title of the position only not by credential) and so far, not so good. I can't help but feel uncomfortable around him and it shows. He asks too many questions (personal and otherwise) and is just a strange overall presence. ::sigh:: anyone else have trouble concealing their feelings? How do I put on a face and get through my day?
Re: Do you wear your emotions on your sleeve?
I think I mostly do. This might sound bad, but usually I can fake nice so as to not have a problem with a CW or mutual friend. However, I have real issues with one of Daniel's CWs. I cannot for my life hide my dissatisfaction with 99% of what he says or does. Drives. me. crazy. I mostly try to hide or ignore him, but that's probably not an option for you.
As for getting through the day, I'm not sure what to tell you other than try to suck it up.
Sorry, girl.
i totally do. my boss has told me that I say "F__ you" to him with my eyes all the time.
TJ says i have the worst poker face.
good luck with that! when you find out how to put the happy face on, let me know!
I like to think that I'm good at hiding my emotions, especially with my facial expressions, but I don't think I do. I also think that people misinterpret my expressions too. I've gotten into a lot of trouble because I may something with sarcasm, but look serious and people think I'm being pissy or am mad. My close friends know when I'm joking around, but honestly, I think that's why I lost my job. My supervisor didn't get that I was kidding around whenI would say something and it didn't dawn on me that he thought I was being serious and insubordinate. Oh well.
DH can always tell when I have something on my mind too and will point it out.
Yeah.. Your boss deserves it.
I agree!!!!!
HA!
If I could hide it better I wouldn't be in the situation with my inlaws. So yes. I also say fcku you with my face. I just buy bigger sunglasses and wear them more.
