Anybody try PB2?

DH and I are getting in shape and modifying our diets.  As anybody ever heard of or tried PB2 (powdered peanut butter)?

Here is the website:  http://www.bellplantation.com/

Re: Anybody try PB2?

  • anything in powdered form kind of makes me nervous. it says they don't use "most of the chemicals" used in other things which leads me to believe they still use some. maybe i'm just being negative! what's wrong with switching to organic/natural PB that only has the good fats and none of the added sugars/preservatives of JIF or something like it?
  • I don't have anything against organic/natural PB.  Just exploring our options :)

  • i <3 organic PB. we eat the crappy kind just because it's way more affordable, but organic rules. I don't know why I am mad at the powdered PB --- I'm sure it's perfectly fine!
  • I have tried the powdered PB, it's awful!  my friend likes it but I can't stand it!  I guess to each her own :P

Have you tried almond butter?  DH and I love it and it is definitely healthier than PB

We LOVE almond butter!  And yes, it is much healthier as well.  Trader Joes and  Costco have good almond butter (but FYI a lot of people really dislike the smooth raw almond butter at Trader Joes, so I do not recommend that stuff)
