Someone amuse me please. I'm dying over here!! DH went home sick and I have no one to talk to. I'm trying to save the battery on my Nook so I can read on the commute home. I'm thisclose to putting my head on my desk and taking a nap.
But at least it's better than yesterday when everyone and their mother got into a car accident. Sheesh
Re: I'm Bored
Yesterday, my client came to court kinda drunk. I continued the case so he wouldn't get in trouble. Then he called me me twice in the afternoon about nothing, each time progressively drunker. So I told him to please stop trying to talk to me when he's intoxicated, and he told me not to judge him for drinking and I'm fired because I'm biased against his case. I said sir I'm not biased I just can't talk to about this when you're drunk, and p.s. you can't fire a free lawyer. He said WHO SAID I'M DRUNK!!!!!!!!!! and hung up on me.
Hope that entertained you. Kbye.

mmmm naptime....
Woah you must meet some crazies as your clients! I've got a few in my business too!
I could entertain you with work stories all day. Like, how my co-worker just showed me a list of items his client allegedly stole which includes a "Doc Johnson Realistic ***" amongst other various sex toys.
Or, how I received a photo of a large & erect penis as part of a disclosure from the State. That was shocking and unexpected.
BWAHAHAHAHAH! Oh my lord that is hilarious.
My stories are never amusing. Although, I used to be a loss prevention detective, and we dealt with a lot of druggies and such, now THOSE stories are amusing.

Rachel, your stories are hilarious. I bet you have a ton of them from your job.
I gave my funny story in my weekend recap post. It involved a drunken idiot doing a backflip off a ferry boat into the disgusting East River for a bet of $100. Nevermind that that event he was bailing on cost $150 and he's now probably going to be out a few thousand in fines since he had to be rescued by the NYPD. We were upset that they cut off the beer distribution after that.
I have a sad story to share. A woman I work with has a close friend whose daughter is getting married this weekend. The father of the bride (husband of the co-worker's friend) was diagnosed with cancer so the girl moved up her wedding from the original date. Apparently the father's health is fading quickly and they don't think he'll be able to make it to the wedding on Saturday, and may even pass away before then. Can you imagine? I can't stop thinking about these people, and I don't even know them.
