Members of the North Lifetime

How is the gym as a whole?  Do you like their classes?

Re: Members of the North Lifetime

  • I love LTF. I primarily go to the South location, but I have gone to North on occassion and taken classes/worked out etc. Its open all the time, the instuctors know what they are doing and I have really loved the classes South.
  • ummm. I heard the roof blew of lifetime north last night...

  • WHAT?? The roof?

I was a member when I lived in Austin - and I LOVED it.  I spent a lot of time there, and it was worth the cost hands down.  The classes were a b1tch on my abs, yoga was good, the trainers there were super fun, and awesome, AND friendly.  I always had a lane in the pool (unless it was 5 minutes after 5pm),  the sauna was maintained very well.. I could go on. :)

  • I just joined a few weeks ago and am loving it so far. A portion of the roof did blow off on Monday night. The gym was closed until Wed, and I worked out on Wed night. Most of the building was open, but the spa and the yoga and pilates studios were closed.

  • I have a membership with Lifetime North and I absolutely LOVE it. The gym is huuuge and has everything you could ever want. It is clean and well maintained. They over tons of free classes during the week that range from Zumba to Core fitness classes. I have done a couple of them and they are really hard core. It's also a great place to bring the little ones all year round because they have an indoor and outdoor pool with slides. It's pretty pricey but from what I have experienced, you definitely get what you pay for. My one complaint is that the trainers will try and hunt you down and give you a million different reasons for why your lazy, out-of-shape butt should pay them $70/hour to whip you into shape! But really, they offer anything you could need at Lifetime. Raquetball courts, saunas, basketball, pools, weights, and about 5 different types of ellipticals. I feel like I am writing a Yelp review here haha...but really, good gym!
