Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Wedding dress quilt is done! UPDATED with pics!
So my mom sent me a text that she got my wedding dress quilt today! Horray for it being done! She said she would send me pictures tonight when she got home and will bring it when she comes to visit next month.
Making it more exciting is the fact that two friends of our family worked together to make it for me. Mom said that it's bigger than a throw but not quite the size of a full bed. For giving them a wedding gown, rehearsal dress, and one other dress, I'm pretty excited that it's that big! So exciting!

Thanks! I had to wait until my mom got home to send me pictures and hopefully I can get it to work. Here is the link to my dress: (It was all white, I didn't get the accent color.

That's gorgeous - and something I never would have thought to do! Eventually when we have a baby I will be making my wedding dress into a christening dress.
I have a big tote full of my daughters clothes through the years and my intention is to make a memory quilt for her and she'll get it on her wedding day.
