Re: Thankful Tuesday

  • I'm thankful for my stable, relatively normal life. I'm saying this because I have to remind myself --- I have a LOT of friends who are getting engaged, getting married, getting new jobs, and I keep feeling twinges of jealousy because of all the fun and excitement. But, when I really think about it, I am thankful to just have a husband I love and who still gives me butterflies every day, and a job that I know I will still more than likely have (and usually enjoy!) at the end of the year.
  • I am thankful that I had an awesome time in Chicago with someone who I've never met in person before.

Also thankful that my body has been cooperating in getting up earlier to work out.

  • I am thankful the weather has cooled off drastically this week (100+ last week and low-mid 80s this week) so I can actually go out and walk in the mornings.

I am also thankful that hubby still has a job and that it is secure.  I'm not sure what we would do if we were both unemployed right now.

This! I was also recently reflecting on how wonderful an "ordinary" life can be, with all of the routines and moving parts that come together to make it work. I'm very thankful for this life I'm able to live - and every once in a while I'm reminded not to take it for granted :-)

  • I am thankful for the week break from school, and that I have nothing going on at work this week.  It is nice to not be really stressed out for a little while.
  • I'm thankful for the april vibes I got for this weekend.

I'm thankful that for the most part the wedding went very well!

I'm thankful that my kids put on a fabulous show!

I'm thankful for time spent w/ my hubs and my friends!

  • I am thankful for the fact that my puppy is healing quickly from the ant bites!
I am thankful for my little group of friends and our weekly dinner nights! Can't wait for this Thursday!

and I am oh so thankful that I have Friday off this week!

  • I have one more...I am very thankful that I work for a person that knows who you are, remembers what is going on in your life, and cares enough to ask how you are doing. I was just reminded of this when I went to get a refill of tea and the president of the company was in the kitchen.

  • I am thankful for being able to take a week off work to spend time with my family in Michigan and Texas this week!  It's hard living 3000 miles away!

  • I am thankful to have one immediate supervisor who trusts me enough to write eviction notices for him, and take care of a *@($load of stuff while he is away. (This is why I have not been on much this week . . . hoping to have it all done before Friday so I can relax!)

I am also thankful that some of the residents at the property are starting to know my name and appear to believe that I am not a moron and blowing smoke up their a$$.  (I've been there over a year and a half now . . . )
