Tips? Suggestions? Ideas?
Our first home inspection is exactly one week away! Anyone want to give me any tips or suggestions? Anything that made you feel more comfortable having your home detailed by a stranger?

A s someone who has had 4 home inspections in 15 months, and made herself crazy every time, I say to you, don't make yourself crazy. It's easier said than done but try. Have everything they asked you to have, make sure your house it clean and then try to relax. I swear it won't be as bad as you think.
We were told we would need;crib/bed & sheets, working smoke detectors, outlet covers, cabinet locks and running water. I figured that was a starting point and went crazy with cord covers, organizing drawers etc. No one has ever looked except the trainee and that was by mistake. They really just want clean, safe and that is it.
If they do find something they don't like it's no big deal. They tell you to fix it and come back to see that you did, it's not a permanent fail or anything like that.
