Restaurant Recs near Amway Grand

But not any of the restaurants actually in the Amway Grand. I'm planning a corporate event and need somewhere nice but not too stuffy. So far I've come up with Bistro Bella Vita, and Bloom. Any others to consider or look into??  Within walking distance from the hotel would be a bonus!  TIA!

Re: Restaurant Recs near Amway Grand

  • Is this for breakfast, lunch, or dinner? I'd suggest Bulls Head for either lunch or dinner. They have a private room upstairs, and also a ton of seating on the main level. They are right across the street from Amway too.

Bloom is good, but might not be the best for this type of event. Both times I've been to Bloom the food was great, but the service was on the slower end.

Otherwise, what about San Chez or Sundance Grill?

  • Bloom is our favorite! We went there one night, then Bull's Head the next night when we were downtown for our anniversary last year, and BH felt incredibly stuffy and processed after the freshness that is Restaurant Bloom. :D

  • Does anyone know when the wine bar next to the Amway opens?  I  think Tre Cugini has private rooms too, and their food is fabulous.
  • Thanks girls, this is great.  I'm going to look into these!

Oh, and it is for a dinner.

  • If it were me, I'd probably pick Tre Cugini or Bloom.

I looove San Chez but I'm not sure if they'll take a reso for 15'ish people.

Can't hurt to ask, though; I'm sure they've had bigger parties than 15. And it's a fun place!

  • I think the private room at Bull's Head would be perfect for a corporate event near the Amway Hotel that's not too stuffy.
  • I think I'm going to go with Tre Cugini, since it's close to the Amway and I've heard it's a little quieter than Bistro BV.
