Elite Catering Shut Down

http://www.courierpostonline.com/article/20100817/NEWS01/100817073/Elite-Catering-in-Voorhees-closes-unexpectedly-couples-left-scrambling

One of the news stations did a story on it too.  This missed ruining our wedding by a month.... and I feel absolutely AWFUL for those it did affect.  The owners that we signed with sold the business, and the new owners were very shady.  Not people I would have done business with, but I was stuck there financially... hoping that everything worked out.  For many brides and grooms it did not work out... very sad. Rumor is they got evicted for not paying their rent...

Re: Elite Catering Shut Down

  • That really sucks! I saw that on the news last night. The old owner seemed upset by the whole thing.

I'm pretty sure it's pronounced your mom's a moron and if you didn't have your name legally changed by the age of 22, so are you. Unless you're from another continent. -Groomz
  • Yeah, he really was.  A friend of mine knows the old owner really well, and he said if he feel terrible. If he had any idea, he would have not sold it... I guess they didn't pay their rent, so the owner of the Coliseum evicted them. I also heard a rumor that the owners of Paris Catering might be interested in taking over.  That would be great...

I feel terrible for the couples that got screwed.

We had our reception at Paris Caterers and I cannot say enough good things about them.  I hope they do take over and can help these couples out.

  • This is just awful...I feel so bad for the couples who are now paying for someone else's mistakes...
