morning, All.
So... yesterday mrBAMF's step-grandmother died suddenly. His mom + step-dad are already back in Savannah and the funeral is this Friday A.M. I think we should go and see the family. These are the people that essentially "hosted" our wedding. They are all very sweet people. To put it mildly, mrBAMF does not handle death/dying well. Its a huuuuuuuuuuge stressor for him, so obviously he does not want to go.

Kat, I'm sorry to hear about your DH's loss. I think going would be the right thing to do, especially since they did so much for you for the wedding. I'd go just to show support. Would your DH be ok just doing visitation? Maybe just seeing the family and not going to the service would be better for him.

Yeah, I agree. I think its really important to the fam that we're there, in town. I think we'd just go for Thur night and come back Fri night.
