what is your next big thing to do?
now that all of the july knotties are done with their wedding planning and married, what do you plan to do with your time?
Re: what is your next big thing to do?
we need to find a new place to live. we plan to rent for the next year or two until we figure out where we want to live. so i'll be looking into townhouses or apartments and packing.
also, school starts again next week, so i will be back to work full time again. it sure has been nice to not think or worry about anything school related for the summer!
I start class again next Monday. So that will occupy my time for now. Other than that, I plan on continuing to expand my photography. I do it part-time right now, and I love it.
On October 1, we find out where DH will be stationed for the Nebraska State Patrol. He graduated training academy on November 10 and then we have two weeks to move! What about everyone else?
1) Get a job.
2) Move out of my parents house.
Plan my moms 50th party that is as big as a wedding! Start my moms scrapbook for her party and start my wedding scrapbook!
Congrats RonCourt..that is awesome!
I am going to back to my regular work schedule as a 3rd grade teacher and I am beginning graduate school...ahhh. In addition to those fun things, I just found out that I am my grade level chair this year and have been chosen for some special duties (that I don't know yet). Oh goody!
I'm teaching my first full length college level class this semester (Calc 1), and I'm going to a conference in Dublin in a few weeks.
Other than that, write my thank-you notes and do wedding albums and a honeymoon scrapbook.
Hoping and praying that I start a full time job on Aug 31. I won't know until next week if I have it, the not knowing is starting to wear on me
After that is settled, I need to start looking into and applying for grad school. I need to get that ball rolling asap.
From now on, we will be saving like crazy working toward buying our first house. Don't have a timeline for that yet!

We have two weddings coming up (Sept 18 and Oct 2) and DH are I are in both WPs... So we have a lot going on for those -> Bach parties, fittings, alterations, helping with DIY stuff, etc...
Also, trying to get our photo stuff organized - get some printed, make a few of our own albums with our pro pics...
Plus I really want to get cracking on cleaning my dress and trying to sell it...
We have 2 weddings in the next 3 weeks (1 DH is in tomorrow, and 1 we get to attend together (this is a 1st for us!) ).
I start going back to school full time 8/30 after taking 3 years off. Plus I'll be working full time, so I will have no time other then school & work. Let's hope DH likes nookie in the middle of the night b/c that's all the time I'm gonna have for a couple of months... lol!
well, i already threw a baby shower for my sister one week after our wedding (i know im insane) and it was great.
then we had DH's best friends wedding, then the 28th another and sept 3rd ANOTHER!
Other than that, keep working on our house renovations and thats about it.

I am a gluten-free, gun-toting wife! :P
I love you, Daddy...2/24/1953 to 2/13/2011
1) Grad school starts Labor Day weekend. Getting very excited.
2) Applying for scholarships for the next semester.
3) Hopefully finding time to work on our wedding scrapbook and put together photo books for our parents.
Let's see... I packed up my 1200 sq. foot townhouse in Columbus and 90% of my belongings are now in storage as of Monday. Hopefully not for too long. His condo has had 3 or 4 showings, with a repeat showing yesterday- so hopefully we will be in a house soon!! The realtor said that this guy went "bonkers" for the place... so keep your fingers crossed. I kind of crashed completely yesterday.
I start my new job in two weeks! I am getting excited and glad I've had the past few weeks off. Why we ever thought ending one job, moving, getting married, selling his condo, buying a house and starting a new job all at once was a good idea is beyond me... but I'm sure we will be glad we did it as soon as we are settled!!

we will be renting as well for the next couple years and we plan to find a little house somewhere around here to rent in the next 8 months. that will take some time!
we are also planning a couple trips. Disneyland in February and hopefully the following March we'll be in New Zealand!
1. Changing my name legally and officially. The courthouse said they couldn't find our marriage license but the pastor mailed it off the Monday after the wedding. I am hoping it is just taking some time to process and is on someone's desk somewhere. I am going to call back. The courthouse said call the pastor.
2. Welcoming my new nephew to the family. This is my only brother's and SIL first child!!!!
3. STart looking at houses...see what we can afford......
Well, the plan was to move to a new apartment, start my new teaching job, get a puppy and start trying for a baby in about 6-7 months.
Surprise, surprise we are expecting a honeymoon baby!!!! I have been married for 6.5 weeks and I am 5 weeks pregnant!
Very shocking but a huge blessing! I actually found out on my first day of new teacher training!
wow! congratulations on the honeymoon baby! how exciting! good luck with you new teaching job! i hope everything goes well!
We are moving into our SFH this week, and we leave for our much awaited honeymoon in 11 days.
I think it's safe to say the only honeymoon baby we'll be having is our new puppy who is due to be born the last week of September... we'll be able to bring him home end November/early December.
Congrats, Jess!
